HOW TO CALL YOUR CHART OF ACCOUNTS REPORTS FROM XERO TO ACCOUNTINGBI

NOTE:

You need to ensure that you regularly refresh the Chart of Accounts endpoint. Calling up to date chart of accounts data is crucial for accurate reporting, as it contains essential account codes necessary for generating many of the reports from accounting.bi.

To begin:

Ensure you have connected your Xero organisation to AccountingBi.

Process of exporting your chart of accounts reports data from Xero

Follow the following steps:

Log in to your AccountingBi account.

From the dashboard, head to Organisations tab. If you have already connected your Xero account to AccountingBi, you will find it listed on this dashboard.

Navigate to the ‘Reports” tab and click on “Chart of Accounts”. Select the Xero organisation you want data for and click on submit.

After clicking “Submit,” a popup notification appears showing the progress. Wait for it to finish and then close it.

This will initiate your accounts as you move on to the next step which is your fetch your desired end points.
