From the dashboard, head to Organisations tab. If you have already connected your Xero account to AccountingBi, you will find it listed on this dashboard.
Navigate to the ‘Reports” tab and click on “Chart of Accounts”. Select the Xero organisation you want data for and click on submit.
After clicking “Submit,” a popup notification appears showing the progress. Wait for it to finish and then close it.
Navigate to the Profit & Loss reports under the Reports tab
Choose the desired date range, timeframe (month) and layout.
In the “To date” field, select the ending date of the month (always select a month with 31 days),
Periods: set the number of previous periods you want
Timeframe: select as month
Standard layout as ‘Yes’ (For US organisation, select ‘No’)
Click ‘submit’, wait for the notification, and ensure it’s completed.
Once complete, head to the "Connectors" tab on the top right corner. There, you'll find a Bearer Token – copy it, as this will be used to fetch reports in Excel.
